Why this Dojo is for you

Consider this...

  • Are you tired of going to meetings where people take forever to reach a decision?
  • Are you sick of listening only to the loudest person in the room?
  • Are you unable to find a new and engaging way to share your knowledge at a conference?
  • Are you having difficultly working through a complex problem with a large group of people?
  • Do you struggle having difficult conversations?
  • Do you struggle sitting back while others have difficult conversations (and oftentimes inflammatory) that end up harming their relationship?

Then this Dojo is for you.

Here at the Facilitation Dojo you will gain the skills and experience to be able to...

  • help groups and individuals sort through complexity and focus on the problem at hand
  • guide people towards a solution
  • give a voice to everyone in the room, even the loud and quiet
  • create engaging and memorable training where the students can learn and teach just as much as the facilitator
  • have difficult conversations and help others to do the same, while still maintaining trust and safety
  • improve how groups of people work together
  • maintain a neutral stance while guiding a group to an outcome
  • focus on the purpose of gathering while respecting the time of the group
  • holding a space where all voices are respected
  • free people from bullshit
  • help people to accomplish their full potential
  • realize what is possible
  • meet cool, new people who are also interested in facilitation
  • have fun!
  • be apart of a cult
